I. Change the following (declarative sentences) into indirect speech.

1. The lecturer said to the students, "Akbar won the respect of all people.

2. He said, "I shall go to market as soon as possible".

3. Karishma said, "There was a torrential rain yesterday".

4. He says, "I try to be a selfless person".

5. The doctor told his patient, "You must have taken cold water and try to avoid".

 

II. Change the following ('wh' questions) into indirect speech:
