Speaking is an activity which involves listening, understanding and responding. It is a skill to be enhanced. Speaking skills is fluency or oral production of sensible sounds. It is the ability to talk, interact, negotiate, encourage and discuss. The skill that enables a person to express his or her ideas is called Speaking Skills. Fluency, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation constitute four speaking skills. Listening and responding are two skills necessary for successful communication.

Top Essential Skills For Effective Communication:

• Listen attentively without thinking of something else and then only one can respond.

• Be clear and concise while replying. Don't create confusion in the mind of the listener.

• "Brevity is the soul of wit". Reduce the number of words or talking time and convey better ideas.

• Be confident. Never be over-confident or less confident.

• Empathise with others and talk.
