Professional English
Reading is the process of taking in the sense or meaning of letters, symbols, etc., especially by sight or touch (Braille). Reading is an interesting mental activity which influences people's thinking. It is a skill to be developed and there are techniques and strategies to improve reading skils.

Reading
is a multifaceted process involving such areas as word recognition, recognition
of spelling, phonetics, vocabulary, comprehension, fluency, and motivation.
Reading
enhances knowledge. Life is full of reading. The people read not only the
prescribed text books but also messages in mobiles, whatsapp, facebook and
other social networking websites. People keep on reading and life itself is
reading from the experiences. Reading materials include the wrappers of
products, advertisements, user manuals, newspapers and other learning
materials. There is a saying that one who reads whatever one sees becomes a
scholar.
Reading
makes a complete man, writing makes an exact man and conference makes a ready

There
are four kinds of reading such as scanning, skimming, intensive and extensive
reading.
