MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - AN INTRODUCTION

Civil and Mechanical engineering are the oldest and twin-core branches of engineering and technology. Mechanical engineering is a broad-based branch with umpteen numbers of applications in various types of industries world-over, including in the field of computer applications. Mechanical refers to machines and mechanisms.

Mechanical engineers use the principles of energy, materials, and mechanics to design and manufacture machines and devices of all types. They create the processes and systems that drive technology and industry.
