2. Speak with body language

Did you know that people make a solid first impression in less than a minute?

And as there is no second chance to make a first impression, we suggest you do it well in the first go. First impression is the best impression and sometimes it is the last impression.

So as you prepare for campus recruitments, practice maintaining a positive body language.

Start with a firm handshake, followed by maintaining good eye contact and a strong body posture.

You can attain a powerful body language by practicing speaking in front of a mirror to check your expressions. It will also help you find the do's and don'ts.

3. Work on your communication skills

It is the one advice everyone will give you before your interview but communication skills can't be achieved overnight. It has to be practiced.

Placement preparations can be tricky but you can get through them with strong communication skills.

Talking with confidence is the key for making a good impression, and the best way to do that is to make a list of talking points to be discussed in the interview.

The list can include your interest in the role, field, domain, your career goals, and how this job would align with the picture.

You can also discuss the skills that make you a good fit for the job.
